At ZenLatch, your privacy and digital independence are our core principles. ZenLatch is designed from the ground up to keep your personal focus data, shielded app selections, and usage habits entirely on your device.

1. Zero Data Collection & Tracking

ZenLatch does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal information, screen time analytics, browsing histories, or application activity logs. All features operate exclusively on-device using Apple's official Screen Time and Family Controls privacy frameworks.

2. Screen Time & Family Controls APIs

ZenLatch utilizes Apple’s official FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks strictly with individual authorization (.individual) to block and unblock apps you intentionally choose. ZenLatch never receives the names, content, or browsing history of apps you use; Apple's operating system manages shields via anonymized tokens without exposing your data to us or any third party.

3. Camera & NFC Hardware Access

ZenLatch requests permission for:

• NFC Reader: Used solely to detect the unique tag ID of your physical NFC focus key to unlock a break. No NFC payload data is transmitted off your device.
• Camera: Used strictly for scanning physical Room QR unlock codes in real-time. No video streams, photos, or biometric data are ever captured, saved, or uploaded.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled securely by Apple via StoreKit and the App Store. ZenLatch does not process or retain your credit card or billing details.
