Welcome to PunchMate. PunchMate is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. We believe your workday schedule, shift timers, and work hours belong solely to you.

🔒 Zero Tracking Guarantee: PunchMate does not collect, track, transmit, broker, or sell any personal data, usage telemetry, or location data. We have no external backend servers, no analytics SDKs, and zero third-party advertising trackers.

1. 100% Local-First Storage Architecture

All shift configurations, punch-in timestamps, lunch durations, and history in PunchMate are stored strictly on your local Mac using Apple's secure local storage (`UserDefaults`). No personal data is transmitted off your computer.

2. Device Permissions & macOS Frameworks

PunchMate requests minimal macOS system permissions solely to deliver essential timer features directly on your Mac:

Local Notifications: Used solely to alert you when your target punch-out time is reached or when your lunch break has concluded via Apple's native `UserNotifications` framework. No remote push notification tokens or servers are used.
Launch at Login: Managed securely and locally via macOS Apple `SMAppService` API if you choose to enable automatic startup.

3. In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2)

PunchMate offers an optional lifetime purchase ("PunchMate Pro") handled directly by Apple through StoreKit 2. We never collect, process, or store credit card details or billing credentials. Transaction validation is executed directly on-device with Apple's App Store servers.

4. Data Portability & Complete Deletion

Because all data resides strictly on your Mac, uninstalling the app or clearing application preferences instantly and permanently deletes all stored data.

5. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

PunchMate contains zero third-party advertising frameworks and zero analytics/tracking SDKs (no Google Firebase, no Meta Pixel, no Mixpanel). Your activity remains private to your device.
