MoneyStreak Privacy Policy

Welcome to MoneyStreak. We built MoneyStreak on a foundational principle: your personal financial data belongs solely to you.

🔒 Zero Tracking Guarantee: MoneyStreak does not collect, harvest, transmit, broker, or monetize your financial logs, personal identity, or habits. We have no external backend servers, no analytics SDKs, and zero third-party advertising trackers.

1. 100% Local-First Storage Architecture

All transactions, streaks, categories, accounts, and budgets you create in MoneyStreak are processed and stored locally on your device using encrypted Apple sandbox storage. We cannot read, inspect, or decrypt your finances.

2. Optional Private Apple iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synced across your personal Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch) strictly via Apple's native CloudKit / private iCloud container linked to your own Apple ID. Your encrypted data travels directly through Apple's infrastructure; we never possess intermediate access keys or proxy servers.

3. Device Permissions & System Frameworks

MoneyStreak requests minimal system permissions solely to deliver core features directly on your device:

Face ID / Touch ID / Optic ID: Used strictly via Apple LocalAuthentication to unlock the app securely on-device. We never have access to your biometric data.
Microphone & Speech Recognition: Used strictly in real time on-device when you use hands-free voice logging. Voice audio is never stored, recorded, or sent to external servers.
Notifications: Used solely to schedule local daily streak reminders directly on your iPhone.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

All in-app purchases (MoneyStreak Pro Annual or Lifetime Access) are handled directly by Apple through StoreKit. We never collect, process, or store your payment card numbers, billing addresses, or bank account credentials. Transaction validation is executed directly with Apple's App Store servers.

5. Data Portability & Complete Deletion

You retain 100% ownership of your data at all times:

Export: You can export all your financial records into standard CSV spreadsheets or full encrypted `.moneystreak` backup files at any time via Settings.
Reset & Deletion: You can instantly erase all transactions, streaks, and settings with one tap under Settings > Reset & Erase All Data. Once deleted locally, your data is permanently gone.

6. Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

MoneyStreak contains zero third-party advertising frameworks and zero analytics/tracking SDKs (no Google Firebase, no Meta Pixel, no AppsFlyer, no telemetry). Your activity in the app remains private to your device.
